Patrick (Paddy) Gunn was born in Coromandel Town 8 February 1896 (Birth Certificate Number xxxxx). Patrick was Annie’s 12th child and 8th son.

The first record we have on Patrick is that he was baptized 19 April 1896.

Of all the Gunn brothers, Patrick seems to have earned himself the most impressive record with the Auckland Police and the New Zealand justice system of the time. From a very young age Patrick found himself on the wrong side of the Law.

In 19xx he married Eileen Blackmore Sullivan. He was 58 and Eileen was 41.

They had one son Patrick born 1941.

He died 12 July 1967 at the Cornwall Public Hospital in Epsom, Auckland aged 73. He was buried in the Mangere Cemetery 15 July 1969. Last known address was 39 Stoddard Road, Mt Roskill Auckland. Was listed as a carpenter.
